Cultivar with a dark foliage, Ophiopogon planiscapa Nigrescens makes wonderful flower arrangements with contrasted colors. Its foliage takes the shape of tufts of long green almost dark leaves. In summer, the lilac flowering brings a bit of color. The little rounded fruits are also shiny black. This variety with an unusual color looks good in beds or in pot.
