Perennial with pleasant pastel shades, Mertensia maritime is a decorative ground-cover. Its leaves are silvery green, quite thick. Between July and September, pink flowers buds appear, before becoming delightful tubular blue flowers. Not really rustic, this plant suits in mediterranean gardens, in rock gardens or in herbs gardens.
