PHOTINIA Dynamo Red ® represents a significant improvement over the Red Robin type. It is a faster growing plant with a naturally bushy, upright growth habit, giving it a cleaner, neater appearance than the typical species. It produces bright orange-red young shoots that hold their color longer than other varieties. Older, unpruned shrubs will produce attractive heads of white flowers in late spring.
How to use PHOTINIA Dynamo Red
PHOTINIA Dynamo Red ® is a very good hedge shrub, its compact habit and upright growth will allow to obtain dense and narrow hedges. In isolation, in a hedge or in a pot on a terrace, it will bring color throughout the spring and fall.

The PHOTINIA Dynamo Red ® is an easy plant to grow, we will give it a rich and well drained soil and a sunny situation for a maximum of red leaves, in half-shade the red will be less bright. Once established, it is more resistant to heat and drought in summer or cold in winter. To maintain it well in a hedge, it should be pruned to the desired height and trimmed on the sides to maintain it.
