Cotyledon orbiculata Gray is a fat plant with a dense habit that quickly creates a compact clump with large grey leaves. The succulent foliage is very thick and round, slightly concave. The leaves are glaucous-green in colour, covered with whitish purine and, depending on exposure to the sun, are tinged slightly pink around the edges. Flowering occurs in late spring, with flower stalks rising above the foliage to a height of 60cm. At the top of each of them small coral pink tubular bells develop. To be planted in drained soil, very good heat resistance, hardiness -7°C depending on soil and exposure.
