The BOUGAINVILLEA Violet de Mèze is a hardy variety that can be hardy down to -8°C, it is the most resistant. A graceful shrub, it is covered with a multitude of violet flowers throughout the summer. Its sermanteous branches are thorny. The complex flowering consists of bright purple coloured leaves with 3 white tubular flowers in the centre. To be trained along a wall in the south, or on a trellis in a sunny position. Resistant to dry and cold weather, mulch the plant in winter to give it a little more resistance.
