Babiana is a bulbous plant native to South Africa. Its very beautiful and numerous flowers in pink and blue shades, have a delicate lemon scent. The linear foliage with marked veins is also decorative. In regions with cold winters, it is grown in pots that will be protected.
The bulb flowers in spring, in May. Each stem develops 6 to 12 large flowers. She was awarded by The Royal Horticultural Society's Garden Merit Award.
