Ribes rubrum Versaillaise Rouge is a redcurrant selected for its earliness and for its berries with a nice tangy taste. This variety has a deciduous foliage and a spring flowering in clusters. The bright red redcurrants are harvested as soon as the beginning of June. This little fruit tree can be planted in the sun or in the shade, even in areas with cold winters.
