Lavandula stoechas Devonshire Compact, also called 'Butterfly lavender', is a drought-tolerant perennial with a compact habit perfect for planting in pots or flowerbeds. The little flowers, of a nice purple color, are gathered in ears. They are below bracts of a lighter color which look like butterfly wings and gave the name to the variety.
