This diosma is a gorgeous naturally smooth and rounded shrub. Its evergreen light green foliage is also perfumed and looks like the heather's one (diosma means "Gods' fragrant"). Between March and June, an abundant pretty flowering goes trough all pink shades (that is where it name comes from), for a "romantic cloud effect" in the garden. Compacted, diosma hirsuta Pink Fountain doesn't overreach 60cm heigh and width. Sometimes we call it the "fisherman's plant", because fishermen used to rub their hands on its foliage in order to remove the fishing smell.

It grows in flowered borders (one every 4 cm), heather earth planting bed as well as in pot on a terrace. We also plant it isolated so as to fully enjoy its ligth and floriferous look.
