Characteristics of VINCA minor Illumination
This striking variegated evergreen is an excellent ground cover for any situation. It brightens up shady areas with its green-margined yellow foliage. Wonderful medium blue-purple flowers appear from April to September and contrast against the light foliage. Flowering is sustained in April-May and appears sporadically during the rest of the growing season.
How to use VINCA Minor Illumination
Perfect for brightening up dull, shady areas of the garden, its drooping habit allows it to be used in hanging baskets and cascading over slopes, banks, walls and borders. It is also excellent for covering the exposed feet of older shrubs and is especially attractive when placed in the background of dark evergreen shrubs.
