Characteristics of the GAILLARDIA aristata Spin To Red Stardust ®.
This brightly coloured and shimmering Gaillarde cannot be missed. The radiating florets are arranged in two rows and the flowers are large and often slightly half-open, so that the yellow colour predominates. In addition, they stand well on top of stronger stems. The centres are yellow with a red corolla when young, and mature to a dark, almost wine red colour. Flowering usually starts in mid-June and continues unabated until October, sometimes even November. The stems are hairy and short, which helps to maintain a compact habit and form a dense, extremely loose cushion of flowers.
How to use GAILLARDIA aristata Spin To Red Stardust ®.
GAILLARDIA aristata Spin To Red Stardust ® is a perennial with an incredible flowering capacity and will find its place in mix-borders and perennial beds. For a rural effect, it can be combined with dwarf Gauras, Coreopsis and perennial Geraniums.
What tips do you have for growing the GAILLARDIA aristata Spin To Red Stardust ® successfully?
