Ciste de Corbières is a white-flowering cistus with a yellow heart. It is the hardiest of the cistus (-15°C). It forms a small, spreading bush 70cm high with a spread of 1m.

Characteristics of Cistus x corbariensis :
Ciste des Corbières is the result of a cross between Ciste populifolius and Ciste salvifolius. This small shrub, with spreading branches measuring around 60 cm x 1 m, has evergreen, embossed foliage. It blooms continuously throughout the summer, its large flowers being brilliant white with a bright yellow centre.
How should Cistus x corbariensis be used?
It can be used in country or Mediterranean beds, rock gardens or gravel gardens. Perfect for beds or as ground cover on a slope.
What advice do you have for growing Cistus x corbariensis s successfully?
It is planted in sunny, well-drained soil, even if it is poor and chalky. This plant is extremely hardy, able to withstand temperatures as low as -15°C when exposed to sunlight in well-drained soil over winter. It is also highly resistant to drought.
