All details concerning Trachelospermum asiaticum Pink®
It offers a pink flowering (instead of the traditional white or yellow flowers of the tranchelospermum) with a heart of gold, serrated, of a very great delicacy. It is often called "pink star jasmine" because of its elegant and voluptuous fragrance, slightly vanilla. Trachelospermum asiaticum Pink® originates from Asia. Persistent, particularly decorative, it flowers from June to September. He won the first "Innovert" prize at the Salon du Végétal in 2016.
How to use Trachelospermum asiaticum Pink® ?
Climbing, it is reserved for pergolas, well exposed walls, balcony balustrades and arbours. Trachelospermum can reach two metres in height (sometimes more if you like) and can be grown very well in pots. A single foot of this pink faux-jasmine is very fragrant, especially in the evening and in hot weather. This vine can also be driven as a ground cover.
What advices to achieve the Trachelospermum asiaticum Pink®'s growth ?
It is reserved a sunny exposure, or even slightly shaded. Trachelospermum is rather resistant to cold, up to about -10°C in drained soil. Watering and strawing may be used in case of drought so that the soil remains fresh.
