Pennisetum alopecuroïdes Red Head is a splendid cultivar of pennisetum with remarkable pinkish ears. Its compact habit in splayed tuft is adapted to planting in pot as well as in planting bed, provided that this variety is installed with the sun in a not too dry soil. During the summer, ears in swab with a subtle pink colour cover the foliage.
