Characteristics of the AlterGazon® HERNIARIA glabra
HERNIARIA glabra AlterGazon® is an evergreen perennial that forms a mat and grows low. They grow to a height of about 5 cm and spread out to form a mat of leaves about 30 cm in diameter. They are very good plants for an alternative to lawns, being evergreen, drought tolerant and soft underfoot. They also look great in joints between paving stones, filling patio pots and as ground cover.
