The characteristics of the CORDYLINE Fantasy ®.
Compared to other Cordyline varieties, the light green and cream variegated foliage of Cordyline Fantasy® is one of the brightest and most brilliant. Cordyline Fantasy® gives an instant sculptural impression and is well suited for situations that require a light contrast to darker garden backgrounds or building colors. The long, pointed, straight leaves allow you to create great effects in Mediterranean, tropical and formal gardens. They contrast beautifully with shaped hedges, evoking a casual, elegant look. Cordyline Fantasy® has an upright habit, soft foliage that develops a trunk over time.
How to use Cordyline Fantasy®.
It will bring an exotic and luminous touch to the beds or to the terraces and balconies if it is grown in a container. Resistant to sea spray, it is ideal for coastal gardens. It can be combined along a pathway with other varieties of cordyline in various colors for a graphic and colorful effect.
What advice do you have for growing the Cordyline Fantasy® successfully?
Choose a bright (or even semi-shaded) exposure and a drained, rather cool soil, especially in summer. The Pink Champagne cordyline is not very hardy, until approximately -5°C. We put in a veranda or we protect in case of frost. One waters the summer in the event of culture in vat. One will not hesitate to prune it to multiply the number of head.
