Epipactis palustris is a beautiful terrestrial orchid which produces tall inflorescences of red and white flowers with a yellow heart. These huge inflorescences, which can reach up to 60cm height and sometimes produce 15 or 20 flowers, are impressive in gardens. In the wild, this variety is getting scarce and wild populations in their natural habitat are protected.
